The Kohler 12RES Generator provides affordable, commercial-grade power for basic power needs. When a bad storm or utility failure knocks out your power, the Kohler 12kW generator keeps your lights on, fridge cold and sump pump working. This generator will power most appliances in smaller homes, or a few critical items in larger homes. Restores power in just 10 seconds after an outage hits.

PowerBoost Technology: The power to start large loads without dropping power to other appliances. With a motor starting capacity of 20.3kVA, the 12RES starts and runs a 5-Ton Air Conditioner while powering other home circuits and appliances.

Kohler's 725cc CH740 4-Cycle Command Pro engine handles tough commercial applications. Hydraulic lifters eliminate lengthy break-in periods and expensive valve adjustments. Runs on LP or NG and easily switches between the two in the field.

Compatible with any single phase RDT series transfer switch from Kohler.
